I do have some business practices I like to follow.

Document

When sending you project to me please include a note reminding me of what you want done, what you are sending me and the value (memo), your contact information, and shipping and bill address.

Payment

I normally like to have a 50% deposit on a photographic project and will bill the balance on a Net 10 days. After the first project arrangements can be made for billing on a Net 10 days.

Return Shipping

Because the value of jewelry and gems and the insurance charge can vary so much and I do invoice for return shipping of your merchandise. All jewelry and gemstones are returned by registered insured U.S. Mail unless other shipping arrangements are made. Please include merchandise insurance value with your order. In 25 years I have never had a loss with register mail. It may be slow at times but it is secure and reliable.

Shipping Final Projects

All final products delivered to a client or agent for the client is F.O.B. Portland, OR unless otherwise stated.

Jewelry Kept Secure

When not being photographed all jewelry and gemstones are stored in a TL-30 safe with alarm system. I cover loss of merchandise up to $20,000. If your merchandise is of greater value please contact me to see what might be arranged.

Copyright

Copyright usage for an original photograph or creative work is not transferred to the client until payment is received in full. Copyright granted is stated on the invoice or in the price list.

Rush

All work that is to be completed in less than normal stated working time, and can be completed in less time, is subject to a rush charge of 100%.

General Working Agreement

Projects are subject to my general working agreement unless otherwise stated.
